Baby Girl takes dance. Her class performed for some elderly people in local homes. Aren't they too cute?!
She didn't crack a smile the entire time.
She had a great time,
she is just SUPER serious about her dancing!
Back at home, she struck a pose and asked for me to take a picture.
All ready for church.
Christmas morning.
After opening stockings and eating breakfast,
we finished the advent calendar by putting Jesus in the manger.
Baby Girl enjoys Milly Molly Mandy so much
that her big sister asked me to help her order another book
{all the way from England}.
She was so excited, and chapter by chapter,
we knocked that one out before nap times.
We had a major household purge on the east side of the Atlantic, and upon delivery of our household goods on the west side, we had another. So, with the kids' consent, we requested that they (the kids) not
receive any toys, books, or DVDs for Christmas. For the most part, that request was honored, and they received a year pass to the zoo, tickets to the science museum, gift cards to some of their favorite restaurants, and supplies to have a pizza party at home.
As the parents, however, we reserved the privilege of getting the toys! Big Girl received ice skates, an "ice rink," snowshoes, and Kirsten's winter sweater, hat and mittens (American Girl Doll toys).
Baby Girl got a diaper bag for her baby dolls. I purposefully chose one that can be used as a bag/purse when she decides she no longer needs to carry a diaper bag.
The Boy received a ball and glove.
Unfortunately, he was unable to try it out for some days because we received so much snow!
It's a good thing we just moved from a cold climate because we had the right gear for them to go outside and play for hours! And it lasted for several days! It was a great diversion for them.

Love the little dancers, and how BG got bg the special book. And the Boy's dimples always get me! :)
ReplyDeleteTara, your kids are soooo cute! Love the snow pictures and the little dancer...precious! Bet those who got the recital were delighted!!
ReplyDeleteI wanted to congratulate you on winning the ticket to Dot. Mom on Kelly's blog! Are you excited about going. I will be in Dallas the week-end before that baby-sitting with my youngest granddaughter. Wish I could just stay over another week and attend. (Can't be gone that long....)
It is snowing here today! Did it snow in LR today?
